Languedoc-Roussillon and Midi-Pyrenees merged into a single region on 1st January 2016.
The data of this site mainly concerns the former Midi-Pyrenees region and is currently being updated.

Financial help

Midi-Pyrenees is one of the top French regions with a wide range of financial programs and reinforcement of permanent capital to support a company throughout its life, from creation through its development phases to transfer/takeover.

In parallel, as an accompaniment to private organizations (venture capital, business angels, banks, etc.) directly involved in “equity” financing, a variety of aid programs are offered to meet the diverse needs of the company: financing of investments, jobs, real estate, innovation, R&D, training, export, environment.
These tools, in accordance with European regulations, may be grants, reimbursable advances, loans, tax credits, guarantee or co-guarantee of loans, etc.
Public financial aid is subject to eligibility criteria relating to the business activity, its size (small business, large company), its location, the nature of its development program (capital equipment, R&D, etc.).
Funds are released contingent to the beneficiary commitment to comply with certain social ethics, tax or environmental obligations.

Aid to industry and to industry services

We give a few examples of aid below (with website address) for a business creation or development project (refer to the websites for more detailed information).
